Owner Project Requirements:
Renovation of 6500 sq. ft. interior space to embrace multiple functions such as entertainment and family getaways in a secluded serene setting. Utilize nature as much as possible to add character to both interior and exterior spaces.
Design Thinking:
Biophilia as a design approach. Use daylight and building orientation to enthuse health into occupant stay. Muted colors in contrast to architectural detail. Embrace the landscape. Stonework, beamed cathedral ceilings as a fifth element, and modern engineered flooring for practical utilization. 3R’s (Re-use, Recycle, Reduce) of furniture application to sustain the character of the building envelope.
